As I look around my home, wondering what I can do, I begin to think of overlooked randomness. Lately, with the presidential election populating the news, I have been thinking about the government. This led to think about how our rights are given. As I sat there, I came upon the realization that there really is NOT equality in our country. I looked at the "official listing" of the rights here at america.gov and then considered my own experiences. I came to the conclusion that if America is based of equality, then why are minorities who are doing the same job that I am getting A.) more recognition and B.) higher consideration in job selection. Personally, I think that if I came to America to enjoy the rights, I would want to be an equal to others not a pompous and benefited, almost aristocratic figure. If America is made for human rights, founded on the dignity of your fellow man, than why are Caucasians being seen as, practically, less important than minorities? You can not change who you are, your ethnicity, or your birth place. Yet, for some reason, America's goal is to glorify those who aren't born in American, but move here to live and work. I see this as a fascist system; flawed to the point of discrimination against the majority race. Why can't an American be an American? Why do we have to consider one race higher in job acceptance than the other? Seriously, this is a system that is not benefiting Americans, but segregating them into the Majority and Minority. Help me start a revolution; a revolution to end this madness.
